Work experience

Farfar

was a Digital Advertising Agency, and the agency where I started my career in 2006 - unfortunately, all good things comes to an end. Farfar closed shop in 2010. I started out at Farfar as a

Graphic Designer

. I got the opportunity to work with, and learn from

clients

and experiences like Nokia, the Finnish cell phone manufacturer. Remember them? Farfar had the global digital account, and I had the fortune of working on some of the massive campaigns that got created for them. I also got to work with Brio, the Swedish toy company. We created a digital world and two games for them, as well as an award winning campaign site. Other clients included Comviq, Visit Sweden, Björn Borg, Diesel, POC and a personal favourite, Emotional Cities where we connected five 'sky scrapers' in Stockholm, Hötorgsskraporna, to a system that measured the moods of the Cities inhabitants, and showed how the city felt on the buildings with a corresponding color. That won a one-show award, as I recall.
Farfar closed, and I joined

Huge Inc

, the global Digital Design Agency as they opened their European Head Office in Stockholm in 2010 (They moved the office to London in - 2011 But... I chose to stay in Stockholm. More on that later.) At Huge, I worked as a

Visual Designer and Art Director

and we got to do some really nice things for European (but global)

clients

like
Saab, where we rethought their Car Configurator. Another big project I worked on was .italo Railways, a new Speed Train line in Italy. We did the digital experience. Swisscom the Swiss telecom company, got a major redesign during a very intense but fun all-work week in a summery hot New York.

When Huge left Sweden, I got approached by

WeSC

the Swedish Clothing brand, where I worked from 2011-2013 as an

Art Director

for the marketing department. At WeSC my responsibilities were to keep the brand experience through all channels, both in our own campaigns and during various collaborations with the likes of smart, where we did a car ride along the world, and produced both a digital platform as well as a book about the experience. I also worked with the campaigns for Chambers by RZA, where I got to do my first billboard. Also, the various projects with WeActivists, such as Peter Stormare. And not to forget, the worldwide collaboration together with Columbia pictures to promote the movie Django Unchained, where we combined a physical experience in WeSC Stores across the world with an Instagram-based competition and of course a web site to bring it all home.

By now, I thought it was time to open up something of my own. So, I started up. But it didn't take long.

I got assigned by the Digital Full Service Agency

Avantime

in 2013 to join them and to work with various of their clients. Avantime is a very serious digital agency that does everything from deep .net Intranet-stuff to the Swedish Social Democrats entire digital platform. I was at Avantime until last year - 2014 - and I learned so much during that time. At Avantime, I worked as the Creative Director for projects with

clients

like
Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, The Cultural House and City Theatre of Stockholm. These two houses were merging together to form one company, and they asked us to translate that it to a new digital experience. We made a fully responsive site, that represents the entire brand and all various things that happens there — usually it is at least 15 things going on at the same time in the house. I also got to work with Moderna Museet, The Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm (and Malmö). We did a new audio guide for the Museum. Moving away from small audio players that you could rent at the reception, we created an iOS and Android app that contains all of the guides that Moderna Museet provides, making it easier for the visitor to listen while walking through the museum, and easier for the curators to keep the guided content up to date. We also did a similar app for Nationalmuseum, well - actually we made a couple. We made an app called "A Guided Tour", that aims to be an all-you-need app for Audio Guides. I also did a bunch of stuff for DnB Eiendom, is the largest broker in Norway. Here we created some really impressive things, but most of that is still kept secret. You’ll just have to trust me. Furthermore, I worked with Akademikerförsäkringar, an insurance company. We created a new site, fully responsive. I also did some very fun, but yet again also very secret, stuff for Electrolux.

By now, it is 2014. I still feel like I owe myself to open up something of my own. So, together with an old friend and fellow Hyper Island alumni, I founded

Regnet Co

in late 2014 - where I serve as Creative Director and Art Director and Digital Designer and Interaction Designer and sometimes project manager. We’ve had the fortune to do some really nice stuff already, and I encourage you to visit www.regnet.co to see more. The main goal of Regnet Co is to always do things that we are proud of. Never do anything half-hearted, and always over deliver. If nothing else, that is what the list above has thought me.

TL/DR

WHAT I DO

I have experience from anything from very large multi-user sites to small handcrafted art projects. And small multi-user sites and large art projects. I've had the good fortune to design and consult quite a few apps by now, and I know how to push a end user towards a call to action. Sometimes it is about clicks, most of the time it is not.

I've worked with WWW in some way or other since the 90's. I love typography (and I'm not talking about 'The Google Font project' even though, sure, that is very handy sometimes), and I am very happy that design and typography on the Internet finally has reached a serious level.
